We thought we’d share with you how to make some easy peasy bow hair clips for you or your little ones seen as it is PARTY season! Having said that, we’re going to precisely zero parties. So… we’ll just have to wear them in the bath or something. Our kids have parties though! All under 5, all more popular than us. Life. These will take you about 10 minutes to make – super quick!
You will need:
- Piece of felt or leather measuring about 20 x 10 cm
- strong glue
- masking tape
- grip or small hair clip
1. Cut out the attached template. Draw around them onto your fabric and cut out carefully.
2. fold the two edges of the bow in and glue down, overlapping by about 1cm. You can use masking tape to hold them in place whilst the glue sets.
3. wrap the centre piece around the middle of the bow. Glue one side down, then slide the hair clip onto the other side and glue that down too.
Finished! Super quick. The perfect hair accessory for sitting on the sofa in a onesie watching Made in Chelsea (what? We don’t watch that! No no…)
