I have bubble wrap stacking up fast with all the online Christmas crap I’m buying at the moment. It has no home, stuffed in a bag and shoved in my porch. Irritating. So I pulled it all out for Lilah to play with – she tells me bubble wrap is her favourite toy, poor child. Then we thought it might be ‘fun’ to chop it up and turn it into pictures!
You will need:
- Bubble wrap
- cardboard scraps, feathers, googly eyes, pom poms etc
- craft paint
Work out what animal or image you would like to create, and which parts can be bubble wrap. Cut the shape of the animal using cardboard and bubble wrap for different parts, like wings, tummies or hair.
Place the bubble wrap shapes on a piece of newspaper and paint (liberally). Add a sprinkling of glitter then leave to dry. Glue in place onto your cardboard shape and add embellishmentssuch as googly eye, feathers, pom poms, sequins and so on.
