Reading Chest Review

With less than a week to go until Christmas just when we think we’ve finished the shopping, there’s always someone we forgotten to buy a gift for. If you’re in need of a gift for a school-aged (4-9 years)  kiddo, then we might just have the answer that will save you going to the shops!

A few weeks ago we got asked to by Reading Chest if we’d be interested in trying out their reading scheme membership.  With Harper and Amelie both at school and learning to read we thought it would be a great opportunity to squeeze in a few more reading books at bedtime.

The scheme is so simple to set up. Pick the appropriate reading level for your kid and get reading books (both fiction and informations ones) sent in the post. When you’re done, post them back for free and they send more. For more details, head to the Reading Chest’s website.

The girls are really enjoying giving themselves stickers on the reward chart that was sent in the pack for every book they read and getting a little bundle of books in the post.

As two mums (one of whom is an ex-teacher!) we’d highly recommend trying out the scheme.
