We are feeling all the feelings as our two eldest Little Buttons are now not so little. Amelie is sailing into Year 1 and Harper is due to start school in just a few short weeks. I’m not sure it’s quite sunk in that she’s not going to be buzzing around me 24/7 asking me “what are we doing today?”, “can I watch one more My Little Pony please?” and “can I have a little snack?” on loop.
We’re well and truly in the Halloween spirit and have been busily making costumes and buying numerous pumpkins ready to carve next week. Iceland asked if we wanted to throw a little Halloween bash with our Buttons, try their new party food and show them how to style up a pumpkin with tots.
We’re a tiny bit in love with dinosaurs at the moment, so when Cath Kidston asked us to come up with a dinosaur craft project for their latest Dino vs. Pony campaign we decided this piñata would be perfect! Derek the Dinosaur is a friendly chap who takes a little bit of crafting time to put together but is well worth the effort. We were a little bit sad to unleash the toddlers to destroy him!
Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate Buttons and Channel Mum asked us to talk about our favourite shared moments with our little ones and try out their lovely new Memory Lane tool. We both take zillions of piccies of our kids – the poor things constantly have a lens in their face whilst we try to capture all our moments. It was so lovely to sit back and think about which moments with them we loved the most. From picnicking with our teddies to snuggling up after a bath – thinking about our moments made us realise how it really is the little things we love the most, and that savouring these happy little snippets of life should be the most important thing in the world.
