KAPOW. This costume is super super easy. You can whip it up in 20 minutes flat and all you need is a bin liner, some felt, elastic and a couple of pipe cleaners. Our little ones were so enthralled with it that they flapped around the garden for a whole hour pretending to save the world. See our video tutorial for how to make it below. If you like it, please give us a little like on You Tube and share the love!
Today this little rabbit turns three and to celebrate she really wanted a Peter Rabbit party and, more importantly, Peter Rabbit cake. So we’ve been knee deep in rabbits and carrots for a few weeks now. To complete her outfit we teamed up with Ladybird Books and made these easy sew felt rabbit ears. They’re simple enough to make in half an hour, making them a great last minute make for keen bunnies.
Last week we received a really exciting email to invite us to join the Channel Mum YouTube Community. Channel Mum is an online network of mummies who vlog about all thing parenting. It’s a really good resource for parents and we’re really excited about joining the team.
Our first video is an easy peasy Witch costume from Room on the Broom for World Book Day on 3rd March. It takes less than an hour to make and involves no sewing! We’ve got another super easy book inspired costume to share next week too, hoorah!
It was Little Button’s nursery’s summer fair recently. Children were asked to come in animal costumes to fit with this theme. This was the perfect opportunity to try out my first dressing-up costume and take inspiration from a pin I pinned ages ago on Pinterest.
You can find the full pattern on this blog. I’ve adapted the way you attach the costume to suit younger toddlers.
