Every year it gets to this point after Christmas and I wish I’d started making and writing thank you cards in October. Harper had strong ideas over what she wanted to do this year. Normally I get to steer it, but oh no, not this year. This year Harper wanted to write the cards herself and make a ring for everyone. So this is what we came up with.
I love making my own cards. Its cheaper, more personal and doesn’t involve me having to push my double buggy all the way into town to panic-buy a crap card. I thought I’d share this mini envelope card I made for George’s birthday as it took no time at all to make and its really easy. Perfect for when the babies are asleep (although, for me, that seems to have stopped entirely. They never sleep. I never sleep. I can barely type).
Valentines day is peeking its ugly (sorry, beautiful…) head around the corner once more. The time when we’re forced against our will to be romantic, bleurgh. Okay, so I’m not the biggest fan. But I just bought some shrink plastic and I had an idea for a card so I thought I would suck it up and make a nice card for Mr Button.
