We are feeling all the feelings as our two eldest Little Buttons are now not so little. Amelie is sailing into Year 1 and Harper is due to start school in just a few short weeks. I’m not sure it’s quite sunk in that she’s not going to be buzzing around me 24/7 asking me “what are we doing today?”, “can I watch one more My Little Pony please?” and “can I have a little snack?” on loop.
You know you’ve been friends for a long time when all your likes and dislikes merge into being the same. Over the course of our 16 year friendship (gulp) we have developed a mutual like of weak coffee, crunch cream biscuits, prisons dramas and the colour yellow. We always want what the other has, and we regularly end up with the same stuff. Hence our troublesome twosome here in their little matchy yellow outfits. Too CUUUUTE.
M&S have just launched a beautiful new timeline called Decades of School (#myschoolyears), showcasing how school uniforms have changed over the years. It’s fascinating to see how things have evolved – M&S has been providing school uniforms for children for over a century! They asked me to talk a little about how my children’s back to school journey has changed to that of my own.
