So I have this friend, Angela, who is brilliant and bonkers in equal measures, and one of the only people who can really make me belly laugh, like truly belly laugh. We met at university and bonded over Sweet Valley High books, the word “dude” and Busta Rhymes, and have been firm friends ever since. Anyway, she recently moved into her own pad so I wanted to make her a moving-in present. She’s a fan of pineapples, so much so she even used to take them to parties… just because. I’ve seen these gold pineapples on the High Street (they are everywhere!), so I decided to make my own version using air dry clay. This was simple to make and hopefully will add a touch of a glitz to Angela’s new abode.
These pina colada ice lollies are our latest recipe for Brighton Mums. Made with fresh fruit, coconut milk and a touch of rum (if desired), they are the perfect accompaniment to the lovely sunny weather we’re having.
