Pinterest is seriously dangerous. Every time I go onto it I seem to loss hours (literally whole evenings have disappeared) and have an overwhelming desire to make EVERYTHING on there. Hello folks. Welcome to our new series of fortnightly craft round-ups! We’re going to focus on crafts, styles or materials that are currently trending. We’re starting with paper because we’ve developed a new passion for it since starting working with Paperchase. So here are our favourite papercraft tutorials on the web at the moment.
It was Little Button’s nursery’s summer fair recently. Children were asked to come in animal costumes to fit with this theme. This was the perfect opportunity to try out my first dressing-up costume and take inspiration from a pin I pinned ages ago on Pinterest.
You can find the full pattern on this blog. I’ve adapted the way you attach the costume to suit younger toddlers.
“I’m just sitting on a shelf” is one of my all-time favourite song lyrics from the band She and Him. Their first album, which the song comes from, has so much meaning in our household that I wanted to display the lyrics somehow.

I used to run a friendship bracelet business when I was 8. I took it very seriously and spent all my time after class making up new bracelets to sell at school. I had some serious macramé skills, even if I say so myself!
Recently, I decided to resurrect these macramé skills to make a dog toy. I chose to upcycle some old t-shirts for the job, as the material had some stretch.
