Hooray for Father’s Day on Sunday! (note slight level of forced enthusiasm) My other half consistently tells me he doesn’t want any effort at all for Father’s day, but then MILKS it on the actual day. It’s like living with Caesar. But he works hard, so I don’t mind. Not much. I only mind a little bit.
These Easter egg cosies make the perfect seasonal addition to your breakfast table. We were asked by Brother Sewing Machines to take part in their Brother Crafts Challenge to create an Easter project that children can sew. These little egg cosies are easy for kids to make from felt and are a great first sewing machine project (though you could sew them by hand too).
I made a sewing machine cover last week (I say last week – as though I just whipped it up on a whim. I started making this sodding thing in February but put it aside when I ran out of bias binding and I haven’t picked it up since). I made it because my sewing machine – much as I love it – has the biggest, ugliest plastic clomp of a cover.
