All dads are superheroes. To our kids, their Daddys can do anything, fix anything, make anything and we love watching their little eyes twinkle with a love and wonder you only get when you’re 5. So with Father’s Day on Sunday we thought we’d get our littles together to make a quick superhero card complete with a BADGE. As everyone loves a badge, right? We used shrink plastic, which is so much fun to do with kids as it doesn’t take long for the magic to work and they love watching it wriggle and curl.
Hooray for Father’s Day on Sunday! (note slight level of forced enthusiasm) My other half consistently tells me he doesn’t want any effort at all for Father’s day, but then MILKS it on the actual day. It’s like living with Caesar. But he works hard, so I don’t mind. Not much. I only mind a little bit.
If you’re making something that requires buttons, but you don’t have anything in your button stash that matches (NB that will never happen to me, I seem to have a huge mason jar full of them.
