So that’s it, the summer holidays are over. Didn’t they go quick? Or not, if you were trying to entertain a hoard of grouchy kids in the rain for 70% of it. We thought we’d share our favourite back-to-school themed makes from some awesome blogs we love to read, as well as one or two or our own (because we are just that vain).
Last week I saw a picture of Fearne Cotton wearing some pom pom earrings and I WANTED them. I looked for them, I couldn’t find them. Then I thought – wait – that’s just a pom pom on an earring thingy. I can make pom poms. And I have earring thingies!
It took me about 15 minutes to make them (minus about an hour of pom pom practising in the evening whilst watching Made in Chelsea – don’t judge me – and stuffing chocolate into my face). Here’s how you do it!
When we grew up, we swore we would never wear tie dye again. Tie dye and shell suits. We looked back at pictures of us in neon ripples of colour and wondered how we could possibly put it on. And yet here we are – it’s officially trendy again – tie dye that is (shell suits still no. But it’s a matter of time). We find ourselves drawn back in and wishing we hadn’t chucked it all out the first time round.
We’ve noticed a lot of constellation and galaxy-themed DIYs floating around recently, from table runners to trousers – going galactic is officially cool. We’ve searched the skies to find what we think are the best craft DIYs for you to try this weekend.

Geometric interiors, jewellery and crafts are all over Pinterest at the moment – and we LOVE them (especially when paired with neon!). Have a look at our round-up of the top geometric crafts from across the web. We found it hard to just pick 6 as there were so many lovely projects out there. We want to try them all this weekend!
Hello folks. Welcome to our new series of fortnightly craft round-ups! We’re going to focus on crafts, styles or materials that are currently trending. We’re starting with paper because we’ve developed a new passion for it since starting working with Paperchase. So here are our favourite papercraft tutorials on the web at the moment.
