I can’t seem to get pom poms out of my head at the moment. Every time I have an idea for a project, my brain goes “OOH that would look good with pom poms on it!” Hence the pom pom earrings (and Laura’s amazing clutch bag) we posted recently. I have pom pom curtains and a hat (that looks better in my head than it sounds written down!) in the pipeline too, but I’m holding back so as not to bore you to death with my obsession with woolly balls.
As the entire population of 2-5 year old girls continue to completely idolize Princess Elsa (If you don’t know who that is… You can just stop reading now, the rest of this post will mean zip to you!), my own little girl is well and truly on the Frozen bandwagon. She has the dress, the crown, and some shoes that we made (have a look at them here). So I thought I would complete the look by making some white locks.
Last week, I very cleverly managed to shrink both my and George’s woolen jumpers in the washing machine. Whoopsie. I tried to stretch them out but to be honest, they’re goners. I was about to throw them in the bin when I thought I’d try something first. I took my cardigan, chopped it up, stitched it into a square and BOOM! A cushion cover! This was the easiest thing I’ve ever made… Try it, it literally takes ten minutes.
