My kids got an audio book of Charlottes Web for Christmas and they love it way more than I thought they would, listening along in the car. And I’ve found I’m totally hooked too (I’ve been demanding silence or it goes off!). So we made a very easy Charlotte’s Web head piece for World Book Day, using mainly Duck Tape.
It’s World Book Day soon. Hands up who’s already had requests for a Paddington Bear outfit? If so, we’ve got it covered with this simple version of his iconic suitcase. Just team it with a blue duffel coat, a red hat and a marmalade sandwich (or two) and your little bear will be ready for an adventure. Thanks to Duck Tape for sponsoring this post.

World Book Day is just round the corner. To get ready and not have a last minute costume panic (!) we made this Cat in the Hat outfit. It’s no-sew and can be made in half an hour with basic materials, which makes it a win in our books! Print out the handy template for the cat’s bow and follow the simple steps shown in our video tutorial.
It’s World Book Day on March 3rd and, if you’re anything like us, you’ll be panic crafting a costume this weekend! If you’re Gruffalo fans, then we’ve got a no-sew, easy peasy, mouse costume for you. Our video tutorial for Channel Mum shows you how to create a costume using felt, strong double-sided tape (a lot of it!) and a hairband.
